Altre zone in pericolo tsunami sono : India, Sri Lanka, Birmania, Maldive, Australia, Malaysia, Thailandia, Isola della Reunion, Seychelles, Pakistan, Somalia, Oman, Madagascar, Iran, Emirati arabi, Yemen, Isole comore, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Mozambico, Kenya, isole Crozet, isole Kerguelen, Sudafrica e Singapore.
La Farnesina comunica che attualmente non ci sono vittime.
